MenuMarked is a meal planning app that lets you save recipes, plan meals on a calendar, generate shopping lists, and share your week as an image.

• Account: email address (and Google profile basics if you sign in with Google) for authentication.
• Your content: meals you save, planned meals on dates, shopping list items, custom slot headers, and recipes you import via URL.
• Preferences: calendar view mode, day range, week start, hidden meal slots.

We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To sync your meals, plans, and preferences across devices.
• When you paste a recipe URL, the URL is sent to our AI provider to extract ingredients, method, cuisine, and prep time.

Your account and content are stored in our managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase). Access is protected by row-level security so you can only read and write your own data.

MenuMarked does not use marketing or analytics cookies. We do rely on a small amount of browser storage to make the app work:

• Auth session (localStorage): your sign-in token is stored by the Supabase client so you stay logged in. Cleared on sign out.
• Planner view (localStorage): remembers your active date range so the shopping list opens on the same window.
• UI state (cookie): a single first-party cookie remembers whether the sidebar is open or collapsed.

You can clear any of this from your browser's site-data settings. Clearing the auth entry signs you out.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the app: our backend host (Supabase) and the AI provider that parses recipe URLs you paste.

• Edit or delete any meal, plan entry, or shopping item from inside the app.
